Special Offer for Bands
Have you ever sat through a band meeting and thought to yourself, wow, what a waste of time? Or are you a member of a band that has never had a band meeting?
You're not alone.
Most musicians I talk to fall into one of two camps:
1) they have sat through hours of unproductive "band meetings"
2) their bands consciously avoid talking "band business" because it's "all about the music."
Now I'm certainly not going to tell you that the music is not important, because it is; however, getting your band's business in order is at least as important. That's why I've decided to try to help you bands out there that have yet to put down anything in writing because it's too formal, uncool, or just plain complicated. You ready?
Finally Have a Productive Band Meeting
What It Is: In-person meeting with me for up to 2 hours where the terms of a band agreement are hashed out. I will provide the band with the discussion points in advance of the meeting. During the meeting, I will facilitate the discussion, give options, and write down the agreement that your band reaches. (In other words, I will not represent any band member in particular, but instead will scribe what your band decides.)
What You Will Walk Away With: A band agreement* drafted by a music lawyer (and the knowledge that your band now has a much better chance of surviving in the long-run because you will likely have already agreed upon the major issues that break up bands).
Promotional Cost: $200 (normally $300)
*How comprehensive the band agreement is will vary based on the band's individual session.
